MVA Alliance’s Seat‑Sharing Talks

The announcements arrive as the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) – comprising Congress, NCP (Sharad Pawar) and Shiv Sena (UBT) – continues internal negotiations on seat‑sharing for the council polls. While each party is issuing its own list, the alliance has vowed to harmonise its strategy before the October vote.

As the nomination deadline looms, the contest for the five council seats is expected to sharpen, setting the stage for a closely watched battle.
