Mumbai: Monday’s box‑office tally dipped across the board, yet Ajay Devgn’s suspense saga Drishyam 3 held firm at the summit. After a blockbuster opening weekend, the film added roughly ₹21 crore on its first Monday, nudging its Indian net to about ₹197.54 crore.

Drishyam 3 remains the chart‑topper

The film launched on 2 October under Abhishek Pathak’s direction, racking up ₹62 crore on day one, ₹53.5 crore on Saturday and ₹61 crore on Sunday. That three‑day haul left it just shy of the coveted ₹200‑crore barrier. With three consecutive days crossing the ₹50‑crore mark, it is clearly ahead of the competition. The ensemble – Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Jaideep Ahlawat – has now pushed the net collection to ₹197.54 crore.

The Vvan slides below the ₹1 crore line

Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s The Vvan enjoyed a respectable weekend, but the weekday slump was pronounced. After a Sunday haul of ₹3.25 crore, Monday’s earnings fell to ₹95 lakh on its 11th day, leaving the Indian net at roughly ₹63.05 crore.

Hanuman Ansh sees a sharp Monday dip

The two‑month‑old Hanuman Ansh continues to add to its impressive total, yet daily receipts have taken a hit. Sunday’s collection stood at ₹3 crore, while Monday dropped to about ₹75 lakh. Despite the dip, the film’s Indian net now hovers near ₹325.48 crore.

Prem Keetanu struggles for momentum

Among the newer releases, Prem Keetanu posted modest numbers. It opened with ₹50 lakh on Friday, followed by ₹35 lakh on Saturday and ₹28 lakh on Sunday. Monday’s take was a mere ₹10 lakh, leaving the four‑day total at a low figure. The cast includes Veer Pahariya, Afiya Syed and Aparshakti Khurana.

The broader box‑office picture

These fresh figures widen the gap between the leader and the rest of the slate. While Drishyam 3 edges closer to the ₹200‑crore milestone, both The Vvan and Hanuman Ansh suffered pronounced Monday drops. As weekday earnings become the decisive metric, the coming days will reveal whether these titles can sustain their theatrical momentum.
