Exam Schedule and Mode

The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has fixed the Group‑B Nursing Officer selection examination for 21 October 2026. The test will be administered as a Computer‑Based Test (CBT) in the morning session, as per the timetable released on 5 October.

Admit‑Card Publication

Admit cards are anticipated to be uploaded on the PGIMER recruitment portal by 14 October 2026. Aspirants should visit pgimer.edu.in to retrieve their hall tickets.

Steps to Download the Admit Card

Log in with the same user ID and password used for the online application, then go to Students > Info for Candidates. When the admit card appears, download it immediately and verify that all personal information is accurate.

Exam Centre Details

The admit card will list the candidate’s roll number, allotted centre, full address and reporting time, together with gate‑opening and closing timings and other essential instructions. Candidates are advised to review these details carefully before travelling.

City Allocation Notification

Applicants who completed the online registration will receive an email indicating the city of their assigned centre. While PGIMER strives to honor the city preference entered during registration, the final allocation depends on seat availability, infrastructure and logistical considerations, and may sometimes differ from the chosen city or even be in another state.

Policy on Centre Changes

Requests for changing the allotted centre will not be considered. Candidates must accept the venue printed on their admit card and plan travel only after confirming the location.

Application Window Closure

The online application period closed on 3 October 2026. Applicants can still view and download their submitted forms from the recruitment portal until 11:55 pm on 6 October 2026. After this deadline the portal will be deactivated.
