Onlookers quickly gathered, attempting to assist the injured driver, which created a chaotic atmosphere. The wreckage blocked the lane, causing traffic to grind to a halt for several minutes.
Police Response
Jwalapur police arrived promptly, secured the area, and detained the bus driver. The bus itself was also taken into police custody as officers began piecing together the sequence of events.
Investigation Ongoing
Initial reports point to reckless speed as a likely factor, but investigators are examining all evidence—including driver statements and vehicle data—before drawing a final conclusion. The injured auto‑rickshaw driver remains under medical observation, and further legal action will follow the completion of the inquiry.
